Trump Wants Boston Attacker to be Sentenced to Death

US President Donald Trump wants Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to receive the death penalty for the bombing during the Boston marathon in 2013.

A federal appeals court in Boston on Friday ordered another trial to determine what punishment Tsarnaev will receive. With that, the execution of the death penalty has been cancelled for the time being.

“Rarely has anyone earned the death penalty more than the Boston Bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. So many lives lost and ruined.

The federal government must once again demand the death penalty in a new trial. Our country cannot stand the appeal’s decision,” said Trump on Twitter.

Kyrgyzstan, a 27-year-old American, attacked the marathon with bombs in a pressure cooker that killed three people and injured more than 260.

He was sentenced to death in June 2015, which, as usual, is contested by lawyers in all kinds of appeal procedures.

Tsarnaev committed the terrorist attack along with his brother Tamerlan, who was shot dead by the police in a chase.
