Tesla is Also Recalling 200,000 Vehicles in China

Car maker Tesla also recalls approximately 200,000 cars in China due to possible technical defects in the trunk. The Chinese regulator reported this on Friday.

 

The day before, 475,000 vehicles were recalled from the United States.

This concerns 180,000 Model 3 cars and 19,700 Model S cars, which were assembled between 2015 and 2020. The former risks damaging the wiring harness for the reversing camera when opening and closing the boot no image is displayed.

In Model S cars, a faulty front trunk lock is involved that can cause the hood to open unexpectedly. Tesla said it would fix both issues for free.

On Thursday, the company of the eccentric businessman Elon Musk also recalled 475,000 vehicles in the United States for the same reasons.
