Electric car maker Tesla delivered 139,000 vehicles in the third quarter. This is a record for the company of CEO Elon Musk.
The number of deliveries increased by more than 43 percent compared to a year earlier.
The old car sales record dates back to the fourth quarter of 2019 when 112,000 cars were delivered.
Musk recently urged his employees to work as hard as possible to produce as many Teslas as possible.
The company hopes to deliver half a million vehicles this year.
