Spain Gives € 1.7 Billion for Developing Countries With Coronavirus

Spain is giving 1.7 billion euros to developing countries struggling with the dreaded coronavirus.

 

This has been announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Arancha González Laya.

Spain wants to help improve healthcare and “help restore rights and capacities,” she said.

Her country will receive EUR 73 billion from the newly created European Union recovery fund and can also borrow approximately 67 billion from the fund.
