Six Palestinians Killed in Israeli Raid on Jenin

At least six Palestinians were killed in an Israeli military operation in Jenin, in the northern West Bank, on Tuesday. The Palestinian Ministry of Health has announced this.

Eleven Palestinians were also injured, two of them in critical condition.

Witnesses said Israeli soldiers clashed with Palestinian fighters in the Jenin refugee camp. One of the Palestinians killed is believed to be responsible for a deadly attack on two Israelis in Huwara in late February.

The situation in Israel and the Palestinian territories has been agitating for some time now.

Palestinian attacks have killed 13 Israelis and a Ukrainian woman since the beginning of this year. In the same period, 71 Palestinians lost their lives: they were killed in confrontations with the Israeli army or in their own attacks.
