Ryanair wants to Engage Mediator in conflict with Irish Personnel. Budget airline Ryanair wants to call in an independent mediator in the dispute with its Irish pilots.
The Irish pilots union Forsa had already proposed that and is happy with the idea.
Negotiations between Ryanair and its Irish flight personnel are stuck. The pilots set the work for the fourth time on Friday and also declared a strike next Friday.
It has been turbulent around Ryanair all summer and over Europe. The staff wants to get paid when they go on holiday.
They also wish to Ryanair to apply the national law and not Irish, which offers less protection.
Last month, cabin crew in Belgium, Portugal and Spain also put down work, which meant flights were cancelled.
A pilot strike also withdrew some flights among the United Kingdom and Ireland.
More strikes are coming. German pilots will also soon stop, although it is not yet known when.
Dutch pilots will probably even end quickly. Swedish and Belgian pilots set down work on 10 August.
