Restaurants, cafes and hairdressers will reopen in the UK from 4 July. Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that on Tuesday.
Places of worship, tourist attractions, cinemas, museums, cinemas and neighbourhood centres are also allowed to open again.
Night clubs, swimming pools and gyms will remain closed for the time being.
MPs were relieved when Johnson announced the reopening of cafes and restaurants. The catering business only serves at the table, so people shouldn’t be in the pub, Johnson said.
The prime minister also said that people from two households could visit again.
“It does not always have to be the same household, but people from more than two households at the same time are not allowed, because then there will be too large a possible contamination chain.”
