Coca-Cola Further Increases Soft Drink Sales

Soft drink producer Coca-Cola further increased turnover in the third quarter, now that the corona measures have been increasingly relaxed in many countries and the catering industry has reopened.

According to the American company, sales increased, especially in emerging markets.

Compared to a year earlier, the turnover rose by 16 percent to 10 billion dollars or 8.6 billion euros. This means that the revenues are higher than in the same period of 2019.

The worldwide sales volume increased by 6 percent. As a result, the amount of soft drinks and other drinks sold by the company is now also higher than in 2019.

Coca-Cola posted a net profit of nearly $2.5 billion, up 42 percent from a year ago. The company slightly raised its expectations for the full year.
